U.S. launches ‘self defense’ strikes on Iran after Apache helicopter shot down
The U.S. launched what it called “self-defense strikes” after an American helicopter was shot down by an Iranian drone over the Strait of Hormuz, as President Trump vowed Iran would “pay the price.” NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez reports.

Last time I checked, if someone shoots at your truck and then two days later you go and shoot at their car, that's not called "self defence", that's called REVENGE. Now Iran is obviously going to "self defence" back at the U.S. and then when does it end? It's been over 3 months since Trump and the Netanyahu regime attacked Iran and every time, Iran "selfe defends" back. If Iran attacked the United States mainland and killed hundreds of American civilians, and then 3 months later we shot down an Iranian helicopter which invaded our airspace to attack our Navy, who's the "bad guy"? The Iranian regime may be evil, but the United States military and IDF are obviously not the "good guys" in this war either.
Interesting that a seagoing "drone" picked up the downed pilots. Unlike ships, drones probably don't have names, so reporters couldn't ask the name of the ship that rescued the downed pilots. Plus, drones don't have a human crew aboard, so there are no sailors to act as witnesses to say it really happened.
For psychopaths like trump, change in behavior only comes when the pain to not change is greater than the pain to change. Trump needs to undergo the severe personal pain he has so wantonly and cavalierly dispensed across the world.
I am not sure the drone boat is such a great thing. It takes longer than a helicopter. The injured persons have to get into the boat by themselves. There is no one to give first aid. The ride back has to be slower to avoid injury to the rescued persons.
The IRGC is going to hit water and oil facilities in all countries that have U.S. military presence. This is not going to end well for anyone. Trump's stupidity is going hurt not only Iran but also all other Persian Gulf countries, and the world economy.
We just need to hold the strait. Also gas prices are not direclty correlated to the war. Some yes but not all the inflation. Gas companies are using this to squeeze consumers.
