If you live in a country or state/province that heavily restricts what you can legally carry for personal protection then this could be a good alternative. You can even parry a sword with it. ๐

#self-defense #umbrella #test
im pretty sure in most parts of asia, umbrellas are used to block the sun, not the rain :p everywhere ive been in asia (mostly eastern) that has been a thing
I've seen this before. If I'm not mistaken, these bad boys come with a lifetime warranty and you can get it replaced if you do use it in a self defence situation.
I've been pondering getting a sturdy umbrella for such reason. Have always heard it's best to thrust with such an item (lightweight with mild flex) to transfer as much energy as possible with the strike, so using it like a short, two-handed spear seem like a good tactic. Threaten the eyes/face with the tip while having the option of slamming that knob handle into a vital point with a strong two-handed grip or going into joint manipulation; depending on your level of self-defense training, of course.
Have similarly been pondering a dense wood cane, but don't feel I'm old enough to not look suspicious randomly walking around with one, lol
Sadly in some countries you can be charged with a felony for defending yourself with a blunt instrument. So when you get mugged and the attacker smashes your teeth in, he can sue you for defending yourself.
I just realized… Where is Kara?
There should be a new martial arts adapted to urban areas where people learn how to deffend themselves with regular day itens.
Reminds me of pictures from bartitsu training manuals.
Welp…looks like Skall's in for… what? 21 years of bad luck?

Could you take a look at the abomination pile of swords Spinner used in one of the episodes of My Hero Academia?

About as English as weapons get.
Hit them as hard as I can for as long as I can; got it.
0:25 holy shit that sound
Since this is a heavily reinforced umbrella, I have one question. Can I use it to glide down off of my roof?
Iโd say you could still end him rightly wit this
Sweet! It's too bad I'd loose it in a week.
Make a review of the mtech mx 8054 xtreme please๐. Nice video btw.
Practical. I like it.
Time to buy two of those, dual wielding umbrellas against a street thug ๐
No sleeping gas out of the end?
UK: "Hey, did you hear? Some attackers were harmed by umbrellas. Let's ban umbrellas!"
Umm, can you unscrew the handle?
I know it's been a while since your bike crash but still surprised you let her tap/hit you without padding!
Skall's look when he says "Extra large knob." 10/10 Glad I subbed lol
