Self Defense Footwork Drills

► https://www.codereddefense.com/newsletter ► https://www.codereddefense.com/products/footwork-principles The self defense footwork drill is one of the best drills that can be done to improve your fighting movements. When an attack takes place, your attacker will be moving rapidly from many different sides. You need to be able to have a good fluidity in your movements and react quickly to the attack. If you attacker comes at you by swinging wild punches, you need to be light on your feet to move very quickly in any directions. Using your footwork skills is also essential to enhance your striking abilities. If you evade a barrage of punches and want to go in with offensive strikes such as a palm strike, a straight jab or an uppercut, you will need to have excellent footwork skills. In a street fight, you need to be able to go frontwards, backwards, or from any side in a split second. Unfortunately, footwork is not something that is taken seriously enough in the martial arts industry, but we can tell you one thing, it is a crucial element of your personal safety training. Footwork is probably the best kept secret of the self-defense industry. If trained correctly, footwork can change you in such a positive way as a fighter and self defense practitioner. Make sure to practice the footwork drills that are shown in the video clip. Leave us a comment, to let us know what you think about the video. We always enjoy reading your comments.
