David Ifidon says:

John,

One Thing to note is that you will seldom see a car like this in Brazil that is not Bulletproof. My guess is that the robber nor the driver took any shots before because the car was Bulletproof. my mother owned 3 bulletproof cars at one time it is not uncommon to see this In São Paulo Brazil.

Actually I think he should have just hit the start button and got the heck outta dodge instead of going after another potential threat.

Brian Peck says:

Bull crap-He didn't need to get out of the car and leave his family to verify anything-He should have driven away even if he had to start the car.

That dad was on point brother!

kichigaisensei says:

Thank God everything went okay. Presuming the car is not disabled, DON'T get out. Drive away and call the authorities. GTFO of there! Why does he get out? Why does he leave his family undefended behind his back? You're looking for accomplices? Why? Get out of there.

Emmanuel Garcia says:

I found it really interesting how he got out of the car to go look at the other guy and his wife and child left as well. Wouldn't it have been faster, easier, and safer to just drive off out of the danger zone? The way I saw it, splitting up the family might have left them vulnerable to trailing accomplices if there had been any — not to mention how the car that was the object of the robber's interest ultimately had all its doors opened and no one inside, leaving it vulnerable as well. Of course, I might be wrong, and if so, I'd love to learn about the decision-making process here. Thanks, John!

The guy on the sidewalk is the same guy. He ran toward the back of the truck, behind it onto the sidewalk, then collapsed.

Arnold Ibay says:

he should have pretended to stop the stop watch on his watch after the shooting just like denzel in the equalizer.
