I'm reminded of the movie Harlem nights, shoot them in the toe!

Amy Fisher says: YES!!!! Mary buttafuco shot in the forehead point blank and lives to testify against Amy Fisher who shot her.

TheRotorhound says:

They are fun guns. Nobody makes them anymore. I have 2 Colt vest pockets. I don't use them for self defense but be realistic, your study showed that 2/3 of the people shot were incapacitated. That's more than I can do with my fists. I also have a .380 Bodyguard. My Lyman trigger gauge doesn't read that high. The .380 is more capable but hard to be accurate with that trigger. I think if one wants a pure average size jeans pocket gun one needs something like a KelTec P32 which is actually a pretty nice pocket gun with FMJ ammo. Look forward to your review of .32. Nobody will argue that bigger is not better but everything is a compromise.

Two words… UNDERWOOD AMMO!! (well, actually eight total).

Night Fury says:

Awesome video as usual Chris!! Thank you!! šŸ‘ŒšŸ¾šŸ˜‰

I tried to tell you guys… the Thugasaurus is real… but noooooooo. You didn't wanna listen. Now they're all addicted to meth and are attacking old ladies. We could have stopped the thugasauruses (thugasauri?) before they became a real problem, but you all just called me crazy and refused to listen. It's your problem now. I quit!!

TheCrazyPlayer says:

The thing I wonder about relating to these smaller guns is their viability for someone on the smaller or less physically able end of the spectrum.

Most gun people I know are large, vigorous, or both, and therefore less likely to be the target of random violence. But, what about someone confined to a wheelchair? What about someone of Peter Dinklageā€™s stature? Or, the grandma mentioned in the urban legends?

Everyone assumes that a shooter would be physically capable of handling the larger, ā€œbetterā€ options for concealed carry, but what if that simply isnā€™t within the realm of possibility?

I hate to use this phrase, but it really fits here: Check your privilege, shooter.

HachiZenki says:

Can't wait till Chris gets to the NAA Ranger/Ranger II in .22LR/.22WMR. Also, the NAA Black Widow in .17HMR looks pretty mean.

darkspire91 says:

>9mm incapacitated more people than .45 acp

.45 ETERNALLY BTFO!

jec1ny says:

I don't think that I have ever thought of my Colt Detective Special as a large gun… until tonight. And I am trying to think of circumstances where my CDS could not be conveniently carried. Not much luck. Maybe if I was down to my drawers (and I was wearing old school briefs). A bathrobe would even work. I just can't see a realistic scenario in my life where my attire (or lack thereof) would restrict me to that cap pistol.

John Nelson says:

I'm listening to your opinions and experience. I carry the 9mm Shield with a personal 1000>rounds without a failure, however, I'm always opening to learning. Thank you for your studies and efforts!

Cristofori says:

Not sure about .25acp but I've heard that .32 S&W can give it a run for it's money in the "worst" category. I heard a story about a guy who was shooting rabbits with .32 S&W lead round nose and they'd take off running after being hit. If you just breathe on a rabbit hard enough and they will pretty much keel over and die so that's not exactly a ringing endorsement of the .32 S&W's stopping power.
