Fun With Guns says:

Did we really have to make a video to tell people not to do this? Lol people get a flashlight!!

Chad N. says:

Can you use your cellphone light for self defense? Not if you want to live.

Ringing Steel says:

It’s too bad this video had to be made. There’s way too many people that don’t have a flashlight or WML, especially since I get more use out of my flashlight than anything I carry, knife included.

Max Um says:

No. Just no.
Fuk ur phone.

E L says:

The Ultratac K18 is ultra compact light with 370 lumens, $30 on amazon for the full kit. I carry a Olight M1X striker with 1 thousand lumens, the best defense light I have found for $60. For the money the wowtac blackscout survival light is the best, $40 on amazon with a rechargeable 18650 battery included.

Sam Stull says:

At first look I was like hell yeah I can throw my phone at you!

CrazyIrishMedic says:

The answer is no, period.
-Cellphone lights take to long to bring in to action
-The battery on your Cellphone is in constant flux due to constant usage so you can not gartee it will be charged enough to work.
-The light from a Cellphone is not bright enough
-You may need to use your cellphone to call the police and still want your attacker illuminated and that cant be done with just a Cellphone light.
-What happens if your friend or family member is using your phone and you need it to light up a target.
I can go on, there are so many problems with using a Cellphone light as a weapon light… its not even a good Idea to use it as an EDC light.

5 Star Jeep Club says:

Now I got to take back my 1913 rail mounted cell phone holder. I had it custom made out of titanium. Damn man why didn’t you put this video up days ago. Lol good video brother.

CyberGypsy says:

It would be nice to know the Lumens… on the lights you are showing us…thanks

Mitchell Lubline says:

Buy a sr1baton from olight. They are the size of a cr123 battery and can go from 25-400 lumen and do strobe light as well and given how the belt hook works you can turn it into a headlamp on baseball hats to go hands free lighting.

Andrew Garkusha says:

Sure, you can do all sorts of stupid things, but that doesn't mean you should

Matt Dasan says:

Hybeam flashlight, 7 bucks on Amazon. 500 Lumens, about the size of chapstick, aluminum body. Strong enough to be very disorienting. You can’t adjust the beam on it but I don’t feel the need to. Great little affordable light.

Jacob Arrowood says:

TLDW: Just get a dang Olight or Streamlight

Ozark Yeoman says:

My cell phone light is a go to for searching under the couch for stuff, etc. But definitely not good for defense for me, as it's too difficult to manipulate the light function under stress.

Steve Carroll says:

There is an app on google play for Samsung called "torch". It is several times brighter than the regular cell phone light and will blind someone at close distance. It's worth having but no substitute for a good defensive light.
