This is very important, and i have seen it in many videos, both chinese and japanese martial arts. Specially the 'grab me and wait still while i do this technique', and the mind block element.
Some of them are pretty obvious, but I still can't tell if those Master Wong videos actually teach something useful, or he is just a martial artist bully making cash on videos.

I trained Kali silat and jui jitsu for years and one day got into a fight, it took me about 8 seconds to reign in my emoitions/response but once I did the training kicked in.

The Ming Rant: the best technique against online attackers.

Super Cool Vid.
Even on a second viewing, I'm on the edge of my seat anticipating Ming's next sudden pounce on Om, like in some horror flick. I can't help not becoming Om, not knowing how much Ming will dial up those throat grabs or when they will be coming. If you don't watch the beginning of this video again (and again), you won't know what the response to this attack is. How else will you realize what a super cool vid this is and what a super cool guy Ming is?
Keep on ranting.

Zhou Yu says:

To sum up what I feel is the big message of this video; If your martial arts/self-defense instructor isn't instilling in you the realities of a physically and emotionally violent attack and the effects (physically and psychologically) that has on a person…they're probably bullshitting you. Look for another teacher!

Scott Roland says:

Thank you for this video. Training is good, but realistic training is a great way to know how you will react in real life situation. You don't know how you will really react until you are put in those situations.

Pascal O says:

“Emotional content changes everything…”. Very few ever mention this, nor train for this. This video is the real deal.
